Ultrasound

Boosters

Our basic version with its low-attenuation mounting achieves optimal amplitude matching between the ultrasonic converter and the sonotrode. EUROSONIC's precision boosters are rotationally symmetrical in structure, so they achieve maximum positional accuracy even under high pressure.

FAQ

No; unless it is necessary to increase or decrease the amplitude supplied by the converter. The transmissions of the boosters used are usually between 1:0.5, 1:1.5 and 1:2.5. There are also 1:1 boosters, which are often used to secure the welding stack to the retaining ring.

It is possible to use a booster for different applications with various ultrasonic converters and sonotrodes as long as the converters and sonotrodes have the same system frequency. Our standard system frequencies are 20 kHz, 30 kHz, 35 kHz & 40 kHz.

No, unfortunately that is not possible. The boosters can only be used with the respective system frequency. Switching between e.g. 20 kHz and 35 kHz is not possible.
